More progress on the outside decks this week. The posts for the deck rails were set and are ready for the rails to be installed, possibly next week. The stairs to the backyard were constructed. Another large rock landing was placed for these back stairs. Mike took a few minutes to lay down and install the lag screws holding the posts to the deck. Another picture shows Doug and Doc working to level the large rock, again, heavy equipment like a backhoe makes it an easy job.
The back deck will be a great place to have morning coffee and all week, you could feel nice breezes at least somewhere on the deck. Didn't help a lot earlier in the week when the temp was in the 90's but when the decks were shaded, it was actually pleasant.
